Research on Power Factor Management and Reactive Power Optimization of the Demand Side

In this paper,the reactive optimization calculation of the power gird is made by way of taking actual power grid of certain province as an example,analyzing the implementation of power factor management of the demand side of different users on the basis of the hybrid method of interior-point method and genetic algorithm.The example confirmation indicates: after optimatization and adjustment,the user side's power factor has been improved a lot,the power loss has been reduced effectively,and the level of power factor of the demand side has been improved obviously.
