Research on A Novel Single-stage PFC Converter

This paper introduces a novel topology about single-stage PFC converter and analyzes its principle of operation.Because both input inductor L1 and output inductor L2 in proposed converter operate in continuous current mode (CCM),the duty-cycles of two switch device are identical basically,the input power value will be changed with load variation and no high DC voltage on capacitor C1 will be ocurred during light load.With a prototype,which output capacity is 600 W,the paper explaines the input and output performance about this topology.Experiment result showed,the topology can make the device get to high Power Factor(PF),low Total Harmonic Distortion(THD)of input current,low ripple of output voltage, and high efficiency.
