Development of Connected/Off-grid Dual Mode Energy Storage Converter

With distributed generation and micro grid technology,the traditional energy storage converter can not meet the technical re quirements.This paper presents a new topology,which can meet the traditional requirements of grid mode,and also the requirements of off-grid mode.The working principle and topology,connected/off-grid control mode of operation are described.On this basis,a 100 kW connected/off-grid dual-mode energy storage converter is developed.PV and storage joint operation is tested,the results show that the energy storage converter which is powerful,fast dynamic response,harmonic current small in charge and discharge current,has good promotional value.
