Applied Newton Interpolation in Estimating SOC of Lead Acid Battery

In the process of charging and discharging for lead acid battery,how to accurately estimate residual capacity is vital for controller to take the next action.The author creatively applying Newton interpolation method in constructing the approximation function,successfully expressed the quantitative relationship between terminal voltage,current and battery discharge capacity.This method has merits in recurrence properties,and corresponding function composition has rule which is convenient in practical calculation,what' s more,applying Newton interpolation method in constructing the approximation function,you could achieve distinct requirements of engineering accuracy by selecting different node number.It has greater flexibility with smaller amount of computation,and is easy for computer programming.This new prediction method is meaningful for battery management system.
