The Tree Structure Used in the Storage of Remote Sensing Data

Remote sensing data is usually stored by the raster form,the structure of objects is implied in it. From the view of object recognition of image,the purpose of this paper is to demonstrate how a tree structure may be used to represent the digital image. It focus on the structure feature of the object,which is different from quad tree.By the tree structure,the pixels can be organized to unites.In the end, the storage method of remote sensing data based on the tree structure and the method of changing an image to the tree structure were presented by an example of recognition of a high-resolution airport runway scene.
