Research on Forecasting Debris Flow Disaster in Hebei Province Using 3S Technology

Debris flow disaster is very serious in the mountain areas of Hebei Province,which has the characteristics of breaking out with large area,high frequency and high truculency.In this paper,fatalness evaluation on debris flow disaster is carried out based on the analysis of debris flow disaster evolution in Taihang Mountains and Yanshan Mountains.According to the fatalness evaluation index system and the evaluation result,the forecast model is designed and a K value to describe the evolution fatalness degree of debris flow disaster is brought in.The forecast results show that the high fatalness area of debris flow disaster will locate on the north Taihang Mountains.The method in this paper is efficient in forecasting debris flow disaster.
