Dangerous condition and ability of rescue for damaged ship

DU Jiali,XU Bangzhen,TIAN Baijun(Navigation College,Dalian Maritime Univ.,Dalian 116026,China)  
Calculating model of instant flooding velocity is constructed. The function of ship's draft/stability/strength to flooding time is obtained by program.Furthermore,concept of dangerous condition for damaged ship is put forward, flooding velocity of dangerous condition is fixed and it's ability of rescue is determined by comparing flooding velocity with discharging velocity.Rescue reasonableness is analyzed and rescue decision is also proposed in the paper,which provides theoretical basis for judgement of dangerous condition and decision of rescue for damaged ship.
