Study on Influence of Wet Method Desulphurization System on Boiler Tail Flue Gas Duct and Stack

Zeng Tinghua (Guangdong Provincial Electric Power Test and Research Institute,Guangzhou City,510600)  
The limestone/gypsum wet FGD system was used in Lian Ehou Electric Power Plant,Guangdong province.In order to study the affect of the system on the boiler tail FG duct and stack,the 1-dimentional flue gas temperature distribution along the height of the stack and temperature distribution of internal stack wall are calculated,internal stack temperature before and after operation,static pressure and acid dew point temperature of flue gas are calculated.Through these calculation and analysis the wet method desulphurixation system has the following affects on the FG tail duct and stack:occurrence of acid dew can result in corrosion;expansion of positive pressure range of stack has influence on raising height of the flue gas and its emission;change of thermal stress of the stack.So the corrosison protection should be taken for the FG tail duct and stack,such as application of glass steel material,etc.
