Progresses in USC Thermal Power Generation Technology and Domestic Construction

LI Xu-jun (Xi'an Thermal Power Research Institute Co. Ltd., Xi'an 710032, China)  
This paper summarizes the evolution of super-critical and ultra super-critical thermal power generation technology in developed countries, and dissects the technical characteristics of representative foreign ultra super-critical units. It also discusses current status of super-critical and ultra super-critical unit construction in China and the trend for localization. The technical and economy outlines are also presented.
