On Some Dynamic Aspects of Berthing Tanker Under Wave Action

The Research Group of the Harbor Engineering Speciality  
According to the results of the dynamic model tests of a 100,000-ton- berthing tanker, some analyses are given as follows: the dynamic characteristic of the drum-shaped rubber fender, the impact action of a tanker on wharf under action, the possibility for resonance of tanker impact with wave action, as well as the various factors which influence the tmpact energy of the tanker.
