Application of SCADA System Based on IFix 4.0 in Water Treatment Control System of Power Plant

Taking the example of rebuilding project of feeding water programmed control system of Shang'an power plant,one SCADA control system based on IFix software was introduced in the article.The former chemical water treatment system of the power plant was composed of operating buttons and PLC,and the status of equipment was displayed on mimic control panel.The system only offered very low level of safety and automation,the operators suffered high labour intensity.By adopting Unity Pro and IFix industrial configuration software,through open network protocol,industrial Ethernet,the automatic control system was realized.Reliable hardware and user-friendly human machine interface highly increased the level of automation and safety,the labour intensity was also decreased.Less operator intervention,even unmanned operation can be implanted.
