Extension Diagnosis Research of Power Transformer Faults Based on Matter-element Model

Dissolved gas-in-oil analysis is the important power transformer fault diagnosis method.The traditional three ratio method based on IEC fault diagnosis method although there are many advantages,but still exist defects.Therefore this paper established the fault diagnosis of power transformer matter-element extension mathematical model on the basis of the characteristics of three ratio method and improved correlative functions.The results show that the extension diagnosis method proposed can overcome the drawbacks of the IEC method that cannot diagnose multi-fault and no matching codes for diagnosis.Then,the results of examples research indicate the method is effective
