Organic chlorinated pesticides in middle and lower reaches of Liaohe

ZHANG Xiu fang, DONG Xiao li(Dept. of Chem. Eng., Dalian Inst. of Light Ind., Dalian 116034, China)
Using GC, we analyze the organic chlorinated pesticides (ocps) in water and sediment of the middle and lower reaches of Liaohe. It shows that the concentrations of OCPs in water and sediment are 7.59~ 34.98ng/Land 0.45~7.26ng/g, respectively. The concentrations of OCPs in waters are nearly equal or slightly lower than that in several other waters in China. The concentration of HCHs of Yu Bao Tai Bridge (the samplings point 2) is obviously higher than that of other stations. And at this station the ratio of α-HCH to HCHs is very similar to the ratio in the product HCH. It exhibits that there should be a pollution point near the sampling point 2. The distributions of DDTs in water and sediment vary with high fluctuation at different sampling points, indicating non-uniformly distribution of suspended solids depositions.
