Blended modification of polypropylene fiber by using polyurethane

Though experimental investigation for the blended modification ofpolypropylene with polyurethane, we obtained the compatibilizer of PP-g-PU.In order to enhance the modification effect, suitable proportion of blending ingredients were determined by using FTIR. It reveals that co-polypropylene fiber achieves the best rheological behavior, spinning capability, and rupture strength at the proportion of 4% of PU in mass.
