Influence of ionic liquid in I~-/I_3~- liquid eletrolyte

It is prospective to promote the industrilization of the dye-sensitized TiO_2 solar cell by reforming its electrolyte.Some positive results were achieved form the precesors' work,ie.elevating the open-circut voltage.But,shortcomings for cell stability and life are likely to occur.This paper reports the experiments of adding 1-CH_(3)-3-C_(3)H_(7)Br(4C) and 1-CH_(3)-3-C_(2)H_(5)Br(3C) ionic into the I~-/I~-_3 redox electrolyte solution with acetonitrile solvent.Measurements of conductivity and V-I characteristics reveal that certain amount of 4C ionic liquid additive would benefit the electric performance and stability of the solar cell.
