Crystalline phases and three-dimensional fluorescence spectra for series of (Y_(2.95-x)Gd_xCe_(0.05))Al_5O_(12) warm white LED phosphor

A series of rare earth complex oxides,i.e.(Y2.95-xGdxCe0.05) Al5O12,were synthesized with the solid-phase method at high temperature,of which the crystal structure and luminescent properties were investigated.The emission spectra of Ce3+ showed a tendency of red-shift with the increase of Gd3+ content in(Y2.95-xGdxCe0.05) Al5O12 system,which is beneficial to reduce the correlated color temperature of white LED devices and raise the color rendering index.
