Typical Mathematics Model and Its Parameter Option for Excitation System

This paper introduces the mathematics model and its parameter option of major excitation systems used in China-self-shunt excitation and alternating exciter excitation. Dynamic performance for the different excitation parameters in selective scope is analyzed and compared, which can get the adaptable general parameters under different excitation systems and different excitation structure, and be as reference for commissioning of excitation system.
