Methods for improving heat transfer in fin-tube heat exchangers

In order to optimize the structure of fin-tube heat exchangers,two methods was put forward in the paper.Under refrigeration condition,the spacing of fins was varied in the easily-frosted heat exchangers.Under air-conditioning condition,the thread pitch of the inner screw thread tubes was varied.The results have shown that the heat transfer coefficients in the two cases can be increased by 9.8%% and 3.82% respectively.
