A review:application and research of remote sensing in marine fisheries

With development of technology of remote sensing,people are gradually concerned about its potential for marine fisheries and the application is extended continually.In this paper,the applications of remote sensing marine fisheries are summarized to show the examples including the detection of marine fish schools,the study on the relationship between marine environment and distribution of marine fishes,change in stock assessment of marine fisheries resource,marine fisheries management and safety.The problems and progresses of remote sensing application in marine fisheries are discussed.
