Research on Acoustic-Structure Sensitivity of Coupled Structure-Acoustic System Based on FEM Modal Method

FEM model of coupled acoustic-structure is set up,modal superpose method is used to deduce sensitivity of response acoustic pressure level to structure design variable.An coupled example with a rectangle plate and cubic acoustic field is performed based on this method within the frequency range of 1~200 Hz,the design variable is local shell thickness,the sensitivity of acoustic level at acoustic field center with respect to design variable is analysed and it shows that the acoustic-structure design sensitivity increases along with the excitation frequency increasing,and has the peak value in the structure modal frequency.Results show that acoustic-structure design sensitivity basing on FEM modal method is effective and correct.
