Some Issues of the Thinking in the Welding Structure of Anti-Fatigue Design

In view of the current rail traffic equipment of welding structure of anti-fatigue design,there are some fuzzy zones.In order to clarify the fuzzy point of view,two ideas have been put forward:①the internal and external causes of the unity of opposites should be unification consideration,which is an important starting point of anti-fatigue design;②In pursuit of the optimal results,relative comparison is an important foothold of anti-fatigue design.Based on a deep understanding about Master S-N Curve Method,three strategies to reduce the stress concentration are introduced as follows:①between the force transmission path and weld,dredging is needed instead of blocking;②to reduce the stress concentration,soft is needed instead of rigid;③to be away from stress concentration,virtual is needed instead of solid.In this paper several typical engineering examples demonstrated the three strategies mentioned above to be scientific and effective during the process of structure design against fatigue.
