Numerical Prediction of Interior Noise of Railway Passenger Car

In order to analyze interior noise of railway passenger car,finite element model with unit exciting force applies at bottom of the car body,boundary element model and statistical energy analysis model with wheel-rail contact and air-condition noises are established.The study finds out that the overall sound pressure level is 52.2 dB(A) in the diver cab and 59.0 dB(A) in the passenger region during frequency ranging from 20 to 200 Hz.For high frequency band,overall SPL is 70 dB(A) in the diver cab and 71 dB(A) in the passenger region.The key part of the car to be improved is located in floor area above the bogie according to the part acoustic contribution analysis and speed response analysis of the subsystems.
