THE SEQUENCE OF PALEOCLIMATIC VARIATION OF BALIKUN LAKE OF XINJIANG IN THE PART 35000 YEARS

Through a synthetical study on the profile of core ZKOOA in Balikun Lake with many kinds of means of synchronism, in this paper, we conclude the characteristic of climatic variation pattern in arid area is that the cold-wet period alternated with the warm-dry period in different time scale to some degree, that cold-wet period corresponded respectively with the glacial age and high lake sureface, that warm-dry period with interglacial are and low lake surface. The foundation and main reasons of the formation of this kind of climatic pattern are the distinctive inland arid environment situated in the middle latitude westerlies and ice melting water. So, this kind of climatic pattern has some universality in Xinjiang and arid area in the westerlies. The whole core profile of ZKOOA has experienced 103y. 12 climatic cycles in the past 35000 years, when it was dominated by warm-dry period, and by cold-wet period 12000 years ago. And there exists the climatic variation cycles of 600, 2225?543, 5933?950 and 11600 years. In Xinjiang it is for the first time to srudy the climatic variation sequence, pattern and cycle of Balikun Lake in the inner arid area of the past 35000 years. However, it is in accordance with a great deal of climatic signal analysing parameters and computer data handding and computer mapping, so its reliability is comparatively high.
