ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS APPLICATIONS TO POWER SYSTEM PROTECTION

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been developing rapidly in recent forty years. as well as its applications in power systems. A great deal of research works in China and oversea is summarized and more details about its application in protection relaying is given in this paper. Then some valuable ideas and future works are also proposed.
