NETWORK EVALUATION OF MULTI-MACHINE POWER SYSTEM BASED ON TRANSIENT ENERGY

Based on the structure preserving model, according to the variation of transient energy in power network, line vulnerability index and outset vulnerability index are defined. By the ordering of the indices values, critical line and critical outset influencing transient stability of power system can effectively be identified. and search and calculation of outset are simplified. The results of simulation on 6-generator power system verify the validation of the indices.
