A m ethod of calculating the param eter m argin for transient voltage security is proposed, and the relationship betw een the param eter m argin and the trailm argin is clarified. Moreover, the two-elem ent tables describing the transient voltage dip acceptability for Shandong Pow er Grid are suggested based on both industrial investigation and the relevant standards. The strategy forallocating and setting em ergency controlsystem s on undervoltage load shedding is proposed, and its application to Shandong Pow er Grid is reported.
