APPLICATION OF WAVELET TRANSFORM IN POWER QUALITY ANALYSIS

This paper details the applications of wavelet transform in power quality ana1ysis. from aspects of the concept ofwavelet transform, its applications in the estimation of duration and amp1itude of voltage dips and sags. compression of powerquality disturbance data. transient power quality problems and identification of power quality disturbance using wavelettransforms and artificial neural networks. Finally. a view about the prospect of the applications is given.
