This paper presents a new real-time voltage/ reactive power control algorithm based on prim al-dual interior point method.Some measures are taken to satisfy the requirem ents of real-time control,such as increasing the computing speed by considering the sparsity characteristic and improving reliability by introducing fuzzy constraints into infeasibility detection and handling.Numerical results of an example in East China Power System demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is effective to solve optimal voltage/ reactive power control problems in large-scale power system with a great number of inequality constraints.When infeasibility occurs,the algorithm can detect infeasibility quickly and accurately and thus offers a reasonable solution from engineering point of view.
