RESEARCH ON THE WHEELING COST CALCULATION BASED ON OPTIMAL POWER FLOW

The problem of wheeling cost calculation and its development are outlined. A calculating model of wheeling costbased on optimal power flow (OPF) is presented and the interior point algorithm is used to solve the OPF. Aimed at thetransmission power network with point to point wheeling service, this model calculates the cost, which results from wheelingor should be shared in by wheeling in a decomposed way. The whole cost of wheeling is decomposed into various costs such asthe cost of using the transmission devices, active power cost, reactive power cost and security cost, and then they arecalculated respectively.
