CONSTRUCTION OF A CLASS OF RECURSIVE WAVELET AND ITS APPLICATION

For overcoming the shortcomings of longer data window and poor real time characteristics in traditional wavelettransforms. based on the Super-Gaussian function, a general construction method of recursive mother wavelet is proposed.Moreover, for extracting the wider band transient information of single--phase ground fault in transmission line, a newwavelet combining several modified recurslve wavelets is constructed. Simulation of transient signal on HV transmission lineunder single--phase ground fault shows that wavelet transform of such construction has unique advantage to analyze andprocess the fault transient signal.This project is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 59977019).
