THYRISTOR CONTROLLED SERIESCOMPENSATION TRANSIENT STABILITY CONTROL USING ITERATIVE LEARNING CONTROL(ILC)

This paper introduces the basic principle and characters of Iterative L earning Control IL C . It is used in transient stability control of FACTS devices. The paper com pares the influence of Thyristor Controlled Series Com pensation TCSC with PI or IL C control on the power system and this of Fixed Series Compensation.The results prove that Iterative L earning Control is feasible in power system control.The oscillation damping and stability lim it of system equipped with TCSC are im proved.IL C has advantages over other controllers.When faulttype is changed,IL C can adjust the output itself to m itigate the oscillation quickly.And m ore details of IL C are worthy to be further studied.
