Based on the experiences from the operation behavior tested on physical model, the problems of mal--operation ofmicroprocessor--based protection are analyzed such as imperfect blocking principle during oscillation. low voltage settingunsuitable for different operating conditions, unreliable operation in the case of high resistance grounding and etc. Somemeasures solving the existing problems are proposed.
