A FAST FILTER ALGORITHM OF SHORT DATA WINDOW BASED ON PHASOR ANALYSIS

The EHV and large-scale generator power system requires protection device reliable and fast operation, whereas full-wave Fourier algorithm is hard to meet this requirement for a built-in data window delay time. A short data window orthogonal filter design method is presented by solving linear matrix equation after analyzing the physical concept of sampling value phasor in fault signal. It can filter out integral or sub-harmonic and guarantee cosine and sine filters to possess the same amplitude versus frequency response characteristics. It can be unit filter of the adaptive data window algorithm protection. At last the design principle is put forward after analyzing the relationship between frequency property and data window transient responding performance.
