INVESTIGATION ON INCREMENTAL AND PARTIAL MODEL TRANSFERS BASED ON CIM

Based on the common information model (CIM) and CIM XML interoperability test, this paper proposes a set of criteria for incremental and partial model transfer. The problem of better exchanging system data has been solved by partial transfers of models, incremental data updating, and so on. Various incremental and partial model tests based on the original criteria are implemented. Satisfactory results have been obtained using the IEEE 14-node data as the self-operation test model. The criteria have been successfully applied in an actual system in China with thousands of nodes.
