A Multi-agent Model and Its Application in the Distribution Management System

In view of the system characteristics of the distribution management system(DMS),a hybrid multi-agent structure is proposed by an overall consideration of both the real-time and non-real time functions.By improving the blackboard model,the concept of the block blackboard model is presented.Combined with the point-to-point message mode,the information exchange strategy for the complex multi-agent system is worked out.A 3-layer multi-agent information integration mode formed by the interfacing layer,coordinated layer and model layer is designed.A case of application of the intelligent fault-location agent is given.The stable running of an actual system has proved the effectiveness of the multi-agent model presented for DMS.
