Common Tower Quadruple Circuits Fault and Transient Simulation Analysis Method

Based on the multiple-terminal network theory,this paper presents a method for electric parameters calculation and transient simulation analysis when a complicated fault occurs in common tower quadruple circuits.In this method,the quadruple circuits are retrieved while keeping the rest of pre-fault network unchanged.The complicated connection of the sequence network is therefore avoided.It has been applied in a PSS/E simulation program.The method is validated through its successful application in the 500 kV common tower quadruple circuits project of the East China Grid.
