An Electricity Metering Scheme Based on Quantitative Metering Error Analysis with Harmonics in the Background

The measuring errors of electronic power meters between full-wave and fundamental-wave metering method with harmonics in the background are quantitatively analyzed,based on which,apractical and rational electricity metering scheme is put forward.First,the problems with respect to rationality and applicability of different metering methods against the harmonic background are analyzed.According to the calculating method of harmonic power in the non-sinusoidal unbalanced three-phase system,the theoretical expression for quantitative metering error by the metering methods is obtained.The results show that this error can be expressed as a function of harmonic voltage,current distortion and power factor.Based on the analysis,a new electricity metering scheme is put forward.Finally,simulation results have verified the correctness and effectiveness of the method and analysis conclusions proposed.
