THE STUDIES ON APPLYING DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING TO COMBUSTION MONITORING IN BOILER OF POWER PLANTS

Xu Kefu (Nanjing Automation Research Institute)  
This paper briefs the relationship between flame radiation and its temperatures,andthe technique of digital image processing. Both of them are integrated with the measurement ofdynamic temperature,distribution in boiler combustion chamber of power plants. The practicalmeasuring method and its implementation are described in detail.Finally.the future developingtendency and the prospect of availability of the above mentioned technique are discussed.
