ALGORITHM FOR HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSMISSON LINE FAULT LOCATION USING ONE TERMINAL VOLTAGE AND TWO TERMINAL CURRENT

The paper presents a new fault location algorithm,it uses two-terminal current andone-terminal voltage.The algorithm has eliminated the influence of infeed current and transitionresistance on fault location. The capacitive current of high voltage long line is compensated.Theresult of EMTP simulation shows that the algorithm is precise.
