Application of broadband wireless technology in extension of power optical communication network

The power optical communication network plays an important role in the safety,stabilization and effective operation of power grid.But how to connect those new substations where there is no optical fiber connection into power communication network and those places where need emergency rescur is a problem need to be resolved.This article introduces several broadband wireless transmission technologies,puts forward a suggestion that constructing mobile communication stations by using wireless technology as the extension of optical communication network.The system configuration and related key technologies are also discussed in the article.
