A Sine Wave Frequency Estimator with Improved Precision in Low Signal-to-Noise Rate

Trapped by the drawback of double-line maximum matching algorithm, based on extensive investigation of the nature of DFT coefficients, a new accurate frequency estimator for sinusoid wave in low signal-to-noise rate is proposed. The simulation results show that the new algorithm possesses higher precision and less computational complexity. Therefore, it is a promising algorithm for practical applications.
