Stability of Higher-Order Hopfield Type Neural Networks with Time Delays

XU Bing-ji, LIAO Xiao-xin (Dept. of Control Sci. & Eng., Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan 430074, China)  
The stability of the equilibrium point for a class of higher-order Hopfield type neural networks with time delays is analyzed using Lyapunov functional method. Razumikhin theorem is employed to derive the sufficient delay-dependent and delay-independent conditions respectively for the global uniform asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of such neural networks.
