Application of Complexity Measure Analysis to Power Electronic Circuit Fault Prediction

Under the condition of high-voltage, heavy-current and high-frequency, it is a rather difficult to inspect and supervise the electric circuits. For this reason, a new method called complexity measure analysis is proposed to inspect the circuit fault status by analyzing synthetic signal. Compared with the traditional method, the proposed method has the advantages as high speed, easy operation, less expenses, safety, non-destruction, etc. It also can be used as a reliability predicting measure for electric circuit systems.
