A New Method for Visual Light Image Fusion

The problem of multifocus image fusion is discussed. A wavelet transform based fusion method is presented after analyzing the basic principle of multifocus imaging and fusion target with circuit and system theory. The experiment result shows that using the proposed fusion method, multifocus images can be efficiently fused with satisfactory result.
