ECONOMICAL LOAD DISPATCHING IN HYDRO-THERMAL POWER SYSTEMS—THE APPLICATION OF HOPFIELD CONTINUOUS MODEL

In this paper, the application of Hopfield Continuous Model to Economical load Dispatching (ELD) of multitime interval hydro-thermal power systems is investigated. A solution strategy is pres- ented to divide the problem of ELD into several subproblems according to time intervals, and a method is proposed to deal with power loss term which is verified to be more appropriate than the existent method via simulations. The simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed method.
