THE VAR/VOL CONTROL IN A SUSTATION BASED ON THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM'S FORECAST OPTIMIZATION

On the base of the next day's reactive power and voltage optimization schedule in a distribution system,aiming at the real-time change of primary voltage and load of the substation,the paper presents a fuzzy-logic variablecenter nine-area control method,which is used to accom-plish the real-time control of the reactive power and voltage in the substation.Numerical examples illustrate that the method carries out the real-time optimization in each voltage degree and each area,and coordinates the global optimization and local optimization,the real-time request and accuracy request.It also shows the satisfactory results in improving voltage quality,guaranteeing the reactive power balance and decreasing the number of action.
