Optimal Method for Emergency Secondary Voltage Control Based on Multi-Agent Technology

On the basis of the principles of the multi-agent based secondary voltage control system,an optimal voltage control method for system contingency is discussed in this paper.A new hybrid search algorithm based on genetic algorithm(GA),tabu search(TS),simulated annealing(SA) is presented and used to find the optimal control sequence for emergency voltage control.Then,control actions of voltage and reactive power devices are coordinated by communication and collaboration among agents for improving the control efficiency.The simulation results of the New England system verify the effectiveness of the control scheme.
