Optimal Reserve Modelling of Regional Power System Based on Multi-AIGA

This paper proposes a model of optimal reserve capacity(ORC) of regional power system.Under the system operation constraints,the model takes the whole profit maximization as objective function which combines the minimization functions of both generation cost and grid loss.According to the complex characterstics of the problem,the multiple population adaptive immune genetic algorithm(Multi-AIGA)is used to calculate the optimized reserve capacity,and the main process is given.First,the idea of maximal supporting tree is introduced from the plot theory,and then a novel chromosome coding strtegy which can produce feasible keys automatically is proposed to complete coding and fetching the probabilites of crossover and mutation adaptively.Validity and feasibility of the proposed method is proved by the simulation results of the IEEE New England 10-generator 39-bus test system.
