Power Purchase Planning of Power Network Company Considering Energy Saving

Rational power purchase planning is helpful to decrease the power purchase costs and reduce the active power losses.A mathematical model of daily power purchase planning considering the active power losses is therefore presented in this paper,whose objective is to minimize the total daily costs of power purchase and that of active power losses of the whole networks,while satisfying all technical and security constraints.The model is decoupled to sequential single-interval model afterwards,so that the dimension is decreased and the solving efficiency is increased remarkably.Cataclysmic genetic algorithm is adopted to solve this problem.Numerical results show that the proposed model can remarkably save power purchase costs and commendably reduce the active power losses compared with conventional one,and it is suitable for current economical dispatch of power network corporation.
