Decomposition Algorithm for Dynamic Reactive Power Optimization Problem of Power Systems

Based on approximate Newton direction,a decomposition dynamic reactive-power optimization method is introduced in this paper.This method decomposes the high-dimension linear correction equation into several sub-correction equations and uses generalized minimal residual algorithm(GMRES) to modify the approximate Newton direction for ensuring the algorithm's convergence.Case studies are performed on the local power supply network of Guangzhou to validate correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method,and the results of this method are compared with that obtained by conventional non-decomposition approach.
